Studio Intern - Casual
Get hands-on experience in Arts Administration through an internship at Bollywood Dance Studio working in choreography, dance production, events administration, marketing, fundraising and youth development. Founded in 2011, BDS builds a community of dancers, artists, audiences and students through high quality performance and training. We are committed to enriching the field of dance locally, nationally and internationally.
BDS is seeking INTERN ROCKSTAR who currently is studying at High School or Uni and/or recent graduates interested in learning how a thriving dance school operates from the inside out. The experience will enhance participants’ abilities to shape sustainable, creative careers.

Interested in learning day to day running of a dance school

Flexible, Honest and willing to give in 150%

Available to attend studio on weekdays evenings and Saturday mornings.

Available for flexible work timings, 5-10 hours a week

Can perform 1-2 hours of self led admin work every week

Bollywood Dance Teacher - Casual

Compulsory requirements:

Trained dancer – either with past Bollywood or classical indian dance experience and/or JAZZ/Ballet/Hiphop/Contemp experience.

Experience teaching younger students, adults or leading dance groups

Experience with Bollywood style choreography

Available to conduct classes on weekdays evenings and Saturday mornings.

Can perform 1-2 hours of self led admin work every week

Great communicator – your will be the first point of contact at lessons and at shows and events

Working with Children Check or willing to get one.

RELIABLE

Have own transport and flexible work timings.

Can understand how a dance school works and runs
Can speak or understand Indian dialects

Interviews will be held in mid July. Successful interviewees will go onto our second stage of recruitment and be asked to run a trial class.
You will be notified via email or your interview time, trial class time and what to prepare for trial classes.
Rate of pay at discretion of Studio Director and will be based on past experience and conduct during trials
